[FedCom] New antennas on the Secret Service suburban

To my knowledge, all GPS jamming has to be indicated on the notams 
website. I don't believe I ever saw jamming coincide with a POTUS* 
visit, but being in California, we don't exactly get many visits. I 
believe the large antennas were present during a POTUS* visit at 
Burlingame about two years ago, but I don't have a photo to prove it. 
[My hands were er um holding a sign. ;-)]

I found no indication of GPS jamming for this POTUS* event. I've been in 
the area of GPS jamming, which is common around China Lake. It's not 
that you can't receive any birds on the GPS, but rather the coordinates 
are wiggled around. In the situation I saw, the moving map display would 
oscillate back and forth, maybe within +- 5 degrees. It's a bit hard to 
describe, but imagine somebody twisting or rotating the GPS just a bit, 
back and forth.

At the Burlingame event, they lined up trailers (as in tractor/trailer) 
on the street to block the view. However, there are only so many 
trailers they can put on the street, so just go to the end of the line 
if you want to see POTUS*. At the Stockton event, this was not the case, 
i.e the motorcade went within feet of where I was standing, and POTUS* 
could see me er um eh wave.
