I am confused here. The original post was about the "new" antennas on the
suburban used by the USSS. The Suburban has had those antennas on a visit to NY
over 7 months ago, so it is hardly new, but, the purpose of the vehicle was
the question. Somehow, the discussion turned to a GPS error/jamming plot.
When a simple look at the SUV shows there is a variety of comm antennas on the
vehicle. Does anyone have any information on the "rest" of the antennas. I saw
it again recently and it was unloaded with the limo and two other Suburbans a
day prior to the visit. That SUV and the others were moved away from the
aircraft and the limo was parked near the cargo door and everyone there got their
picture taken with the limo and aircraft in background. When they departed,
that specific Suburban was communicating on a 162.xxx freq. simplex with the
other vehicles.
