Someone suggested NASA (if my recall is correct) in one of the earlier

Whoa - how did NASA get involved in this????
The original post had a link to the photo of the Suburban with the unusual
antennas mounted on it. The photos were of the Presidential motorcade taken
in Dallas at Love Field.
Here's the link to the photo that started this;

Unfortunately I just missed the POTUS visit to Portland on Friday by mere
minutes, so I didn't get a chance to look for this vehicle in the
motorcade.
BTW, my vote is that it's NOT a Secret Service vehicle, but probably WHCA,
which means it may have connections to DoD comms system, either SATCOM or
UHF MUX.
