I am trying to find the locations (or even areas of useage) for the
following DEA/HIDTA repeaters in the LA-Orange-Riverside area.
414.550 HIDTA-1
414.500 HIDTA-2 (seems to be used in Hollywood)
412.000 HIDTA-6 (never heard-does it exist?)
414.350 HIDTA-7 (heard years ago in S. Orange Co. believed disconnected)
414.450 HIDTA-8 (never heard)
414.475 HIDTA-9 (fairly sure this is on Sierra Peak OrCo.)
412.125 HIDTA 10 (heard strongest at my old house, South, maybe beach?)
These are not HIDTA but appear to be in the regular DEA L.A. setup.
416.3625 I 418.925 R Orange Co.?
????????? I 419.500 R called Channel 9- Riverside?
FYI- picked up a repeater on Red Mountain in Ventura repeating a
surveillance going on in La Jolla (quite a distance, but straight shot
across the beach) on DEA 6 input- 416.200, but coming off Red Mtn on
417.650, with some type of short, unusual data bleeps not heard on other DEA
channels.
Since moving to "the hole" , I can no longer pick up Mt. Laguna, but
there was a link on 414.275 repeating DEA-9 (413.975/419.225) from Vista,
and the same freqs from El Centro (or Imperial Co.)
It also sounds like the BLM-LE repeater on Laguna on 168.300/166.750 R
(A5) is now digital. Fire channels remain analog.
Also had unknown user, but believed to be the JTF guys on the border,
talking encrypted digital today on 172.700 I/ 168.375 R. Ruff
