That might explain the Silence on the VHF-lo US F&W Channels in New England,
however the Cruisers still carry the old Tree Killer Whips

Not sure I agree with that one. Mainly because the FPS has a nationwide,
UHF system that is in the process of being upgraded to digital. Wonder why
they would have units from Florida running around in Texas on ICE
(Immigration & Customs Enforcement) radios.  Also, the 4 FRANK or 4F call
sign would probably not be exclusive to the FPS.

My guess would be US Fish & Wildlife units, as they have been heard on
Customs radios for years now...
