1) I confirmed that at least the northern repeaters in ME are using 162=2E=
900
as the input=2E  These would be the Aroostook County Sites that I am refer=
ing
to=2E  This is years ago so not sure how accurate this info is now=2E  Bac=
k
then, the in/out tones were 100=2E0 Hz=2E  They have been switching to 151=
=2E4
more in the recent years=2E

2) Yes, the system is notoriously linked=2E  Some sites have limited Telco=

and use various links to connect to other sites=2E  170=2E625 IS a link in=

parts of VT for the Swanton Sector of BP=2E  It could also be used as one =
in
ME as well=2E  It's a big border=2E =20

3) Not sure what you are asking=2E

4) I have never seen a radio using encryption (DVP, DES, or any type) or
P25 that had a PL=2E  This is not to say that it is not possible or useful=
,
but it is rare in by experience=2E
