[FedCom] FedCom Mobile Monitoring - May 20, 2004

Monitored the following FedCom's on my way to work today from Fall River to 
Newport, RI.

156.800:  VHF 16, USCG Group Boston, monitoring distress call and repeating 
distress message.

157.175: VHF 83A, USCG.  Couldn't make out what was said.

141.800: Rhode Island Air National Guard SPS Repater, mentioned several 
people standing in the  street.

418.350:  Sounded like a Motorola TRS control channel.  Have never heard 
this one before, but some ducting seems to be in along the Narragansett Bay, 
so this may be from somewhere in central Massachusetts.  Have listed in the 
scanner as USSS Gray Channel, but I doubt it is.

164.655: Have listed as USSS Tango.  Have been monitoring many transmissions 
in what I think is P-25 digital.  I have a PRO-95, so I couldn't decode it 
anyway.  Anyone know if someone is in the SE New England region?
