S-Band.... Considering you can go buy a Wavecom VCR Rabbit for $70,
and MMDS block downconverters for probably even less from a hamfest,
we're talking something that's well within the realm of a hobbyist who
gets an urge....
Or for the hobbyist with more money than technical skill perhaps an Icom R-20?
