   lo-budget/no-skill at this qth. S-band sig blows thru front end of tv when 
a/c near. Residents of Montauk, NY, thought they had UFO problem. Every 12 
seconds, tv pix flips, they hear 'zzzzzzzip' sound. This was 432 MHz AN/FPS-35 
radar, five-megawatts through amplitrons, 150' wide reflector. A show it 
itsellf, now a cold war museum. Check out radomes.org, click 'on line air defense 
museum'. When close, given high pulsed power, as said the cook to the socialite 
on the Three Stooges, 'Just turn on anything in the house, you'll get it."
