Well, today in my workplace office I had a chance to put the 780XLT in the 
search mode in the range of 406 to 420 mhz (it's really RF hell in the 
office with all our computers, etc.) and although I didn't get very many 
hits, used the 296D to input the hits to see if the digital was encrypted or 
not.

So far got the following:

419.5 Repeater (P25 encrypted) with 414.2 (P25 encyrpted) as input.

I am fairly sure that it is related because I did monitor the two 
frequencies at the same time and when 414.2 was keyed the 419.5 came alive.

Grove Enterprise's "Federal Frequency Directory"  lists 414.2 as a simplex 
freq & 419.5 as a repeater and different agencies are listed as users of the 
two frequencies.

Of course since both were encrypted, I can't be 100% sure there was a 
relationship.
