Let's not forget that Karl Rove had his office bugged once in an attempt 
to make it look like the "other guy" did it. This would mean that Rove 
has had some connection with the type of people who know "wires."

I haven't seen the bloggers mention Bush fiddling inside his jacket on 
the 2nd debate, but if that meant he was wearing a wire, I would think 
somebody would have found the signal. There is just too much money 
floating around not to be able to hire the brains to do the job. Unless 
of course security was so tight that someone with the proper hardware 
couldn't get close enough to intercept the signal. Remember that it 
would not be a constant carrier, but just a quick blip of audio, much 
like ATC. [I've spent hours over many days trying to find the UHF 
approach/departure simulcast for Groom Lake, so I know how hard it is to 
find a frequency that doesn't have much traffic.]
