I am reading all of this and just want to point out the obvious, (which I am
great at doing when needed). This is the year 2004, not 1974 and the "Feds"
as they are referred too in all of these postings, do not go to your residence
to conduct a Title III wiretap on the telephone (and I emphasize telephone
only). There is no device placed on your phone or anywhere near your phone or
residence in wiretapping your phone "These days". All done remotely and the
goal is that the tap is transparrent, meaning you are not going to hear line
noise or anything else that might alert you. Wouldn't be a very useful tool to
gather data if you heard noises that alert you (like in the old days). Now if
you feel your line is tapped and you do have unusual noises, that could still
be a tap, but it will not be from a "Fed". So, I am not saying your phone is
not tapped, just saying it is not from a Federal Agency. That doesn't mean a
wife, neighbor, competitor, or local police agency is doing it the old fashion
way. Hopes this help eliminate the bad rap the "Feds" are getting on this
thread. They are hardly that unprofessional that you would realize you are being
monitored.
