Both the analog and P25 traffic I've heard west of Ft. Worth has been in the
clear (and at times encrypted too) over the last year. But like I mentioned
in the previous e-mail, there isn't much activity from the BATF guys and
gals out my way.

Are both areas encrypted? BATF has been using P25 digital for a year or
more
in the Philadelphia, PA area on this freq. I only bought a digital scanner
in
November of 04. Every time I hear traffic on this frequency is it digital
w/
encryption.
I have never monitored anything in the clear here since they switched to
digital radios.
