Not sure of your exact location (no map handy), but
If you are near the Canadian Border they use "our" govt
400MHz freqs as paging channels . If you have some type of
page reading program (not me).  It would be interesting to see
what you get ??    Jeff

Can anyone ID a pager station I'm hearing on 413.8625 Mhz? It has a very

strong signal in New York's Mid-Hudson valley (Dutchess County) - can be
easily 
heard on a portable scanner with an 800 Mhz. duck antenna. At times it
sounds 
like there are other, weaker, transmitters. It pages continuously 24/7.
I was 
able to copy a CW callsign: KBO789. Due to the frequency it should be
federal.
