[FedCom] FBI on UHF?

Hi Chris & List,

I cannot confirm this frequency you mentioned, but as you probably remember
from when you lived in the Houston area, 419.2 and 419.325 were used by the
FBI for many years. I haven't lived in Houston for over a decade now and I
have no idea if these still get any use down there. I can say I've never
heard them used in the DFW area (with the exception of 419.2 being an input
frequency to the Navy Ft. Worth JRB P-25 system).

Subject: [FedCom] FBI on UHF?

Anyone on the list ever confirmed any use of UHF 406-420 MHz frequencies by
the FBI?

I'm not referring to the UHF "links" of days past that used to link the
various VHF repeaters, but asking about actual field use of UHF hand-helds.

Just curious...
