The pro-96 sounds quite good on astro. Those who own moto radios say the
pro-96 sounds better then their radio.
I believe the Pro-97 is an Uniden OEM.

Signal Stalker = Close call????
I don't have a radio with close call, but saw one in action. The
"target" no longer had their frequencies in the FCC database, though
with a great deal of work I found their FCC application. The guy with
Close Call didn't need to go through such effort as he found every
frequency I had while on scene.
I see the Pro-97 is on sale at the moment for $180. Even less than the
BC246 mail order.
