HF Data Burst Re: DOE Convoy Comms & Re: [FedCom] Transporter Picture

Now one has to wonder what information is in the encrypted "data burst"? 
I'd guess that the data set would include:
Convoy id, truck/trailer id, position, & status code (most likey an 
automatic sensor type generated code but there's probably a manual "in 
trouble" button that can be pressed).  I know in the commercial truck 
industry the sensor packages can be set to
alarm the control center if a vehicle goes off a set route; stopped for too 
long; trailer disconnected from tractor, etc...

Additionally, it's probable also that the  Kirkland AFB, NM operations 
center is tied in with other remote HF transmitters/receivers throughout the 
country (via satellite?) to decrease potential HF transmissions problems 
from just one location.

Wondering also if the monitors concluded that the transmissions were from a 
fixed or mobile location?

I'm trying to remember if there's been any feature stories in "Monitoring 
Times" on data burst transmissions.
