They have been in the paranoid mode for several years now Peter. I
remember
several years ago we published a common list of Boise Cache freqs. We
got
email for one of the jerks in their HQ demanding to be told where we got
the
list. We told him Police Call which had been publishing the list for
decades
and available in any Radio Shack store. I heard him say, "Oh! Thank you
for
your time sir." <Click>

Some government freqs managers are a bit more over zealous than others.
These days anyone who has cast their faith with or associated with DHS
is
way off the deep end. Those of you who have been around for a long time
honestly think about this:

Folks such as CAP (amazing when a 11 year old can see those freqs, but I

can't), MARS (all three services), and SHARES (the never do anything
bunch
like MARS) to name a few can have their freq list removed from public
view.
Amazing what DHS managed to do in a short time.

I might be able to justify SHARES being FOUO (if they really did do what

they are suppose to do, pass government messages in an emergency), but
CAP
and MARS? Give me a break. Looks like some Cold War Warriors druming up
business again in the new War on Terror.

Nuff, there will be a major editorial on CAP, MARS and SHARES and their
frequencies soon in MT.
