Morning folks, during the course of my business dealing's, I recently
have been in contact with some entities on a couple of local military
installation's regarding the frequencies that they operate on, and
various treaty's in place (or about to be in place) regarding the US &
Mexico border. Some of you are probably already aware of this
information, but I thought I would pass this along for those that might
not be aware:

<http://www.state.gov/e/eb/rls/othr/2005/50856.htm>
U.S. - Mexico Protocol to Share the 380-400 MHz Band for Fixed and Mobile
Services in the Common Border Area.

<http://www.state.gov/e/eb/rls/othr/2005/50857.htm>
U.S. - Mexico Protocol to Share the 406-420 MHz Band for Fixed and Mobile
Services in the Common Border Area.

Both of these pages are a pretty interesting read, especially the 406-420
document, it mentions some "protected sites" (and their frequencies!) on
both sides of the border.

I realize that the info is from late July of last year (2005), and since
it only pertains the area from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico (i.e.
the Mexican Border) it probably doesn't affect alot of the folks on this
list, but information is information!
