[FedCom] ProVoice on Fed Channels?

The only problem with your analysis is I suspect the guy who said that
system is pro-voice got that information from me. Thus you really only
have one source, namely the guy who told me it was provoice. [I hadn't
planned on publishing any of these frequencies, but when I saw about a
third of what I had logged on the net, I posted the rest since I figured
the other person would get the information eventually.] There may be a
few bugs in that page. It is the first time I've seen it. For instance,
there is no system 9, at least it doesn't come up as system 9 on etrunk.
I've run the etrunk from near Mercury so I know this is the case. I
think system 7 is relayed to Vegas, though I can't rule out that it
comes from Angels Peak as I never DFd it. However, if it were on Angels
Peak, I would hear it in more places than my logs indicate, and it
sounds really strong at the base.

That's the problem with radio reference. It can be useful, but you have
different people submitting data, so the information is a combination of
correct stuff and who knows what. In my case, every frequency I logged
has been verified because it popped up as a control channel. Groom Lake
rotates all the frequencies as CC, so given enough visits, you will get
them all.

The trouble with ProVoice (if that is what is used at Groom) is it does
sound a bit like the DES encryption used by the FBI. The preamble is a
bit different, but eventually it sounds like white noise once you are
into the meat of the transmission.
