Hi, Duane,

165.2375 MHz is DHS Customs and Border Protection Net 1. I have received
mail from some local folks in the New Orleans area saying that this
frequency had been set up as sort of a federal/local interoperability
channel since Katrina. Many local public safety agencies apparently have the
ablility to tie in to the DHS Net if needed. It sounds like this patch is
still in place.

168.4500 MHz has several allocations, including Secret Service and the
Department of Energy. But I suspect it may be a Treasury allocation that
might have been carried over to DHS use, and may also be used as a local
interoperability frequency.
