I'm not sure which listing you are referring to, Jeff. But there are 2
Bureau of Prisons UHF trunking systems on the air now in the Miami-Dade
area. I wrote about them in the January 2006 Fed Files column.
One is at the Federal Detention Center Miami, located east of Miami at the
corner of NE 4th Street and North Miami Avenue;
System ID - B136
407.0125 MHz
407.4125 MHz
409.6750 MHz
410.0000 MHz
410.8125 MHz
The other is the Federal Correctional Institution Miami and is located in
southwest Dade County, 30 miles from downtown Miami;
System ID - 5936
406.9500 MHz
408.1500 MHz
408.5500 MHz
409.9500 MHz
There used to be a UHF trunked system that the folks in Southeast Florida
theorized was located at the federal courthouse, but it has been off the air
for years now;
System ID - 3d2c
406.5500 MHz
408.9500 MHz
409.3500 MHz
409.7500 MHz
