Boston aka Quincy had an FCC repeater, but like the rest of the country, 
nothing including the Phone patch has been heard for 10 yrs  :(

173.8 was the Boston Tone.

Their Kansas City repeater on this pair has been off the air for over a 
decade.  One of the local hams formerly associated with the commission said 
they lost the budget to maintain a 2-way system.  I guess the question 
should be rephrased "has anybody heard them here *recently*?"
