A change to narrorow band doesn't necessarily mean a
change in frequency. BTW there goes the MARS/CAP thing
that Gordon West perpetuated many years ago, causing
untold interference to radio systems nationwide. We
stopped using ham equipment on MARS VHF last year. An
added benefit was the migration to a hybrid
digital/analog system since the equipment is getting
so cheap these days on the secondary market.
