Yesterday DEA air asset was following a car down our freeways.  Listened 
from 2315 to 2330z when I got to my local pub for a beer on a hot 
afternoon.  Just as I dialed up 118.3 Oakland Tower I heard him talking 
to the tower stating he was following a car down the freeway.  Got there 
too late to get a aviation call sign.  While I listened on 418.75 the 
guy in the plane talked about every 30 seconds describing "very much in 
the clear" where they were at, what they were passing, what cars/trucks 
they were by, what lane & at what speed.  I guess they don't know 
someone can hear them.
