Somehow I knew you would be the first to respond.  I know you and others pay
$$$ for scanners and enjoy the "hunt".  That is fine.  It's your thing!
Personally, I'd rater to hear actual communications.  That is my thing.
Tomorrow, I will be more than happy to post the frequencies that were my
favorites.  Have a good evening.

Well whether it's encrypted or not it's still radiating a signal that at
least will show what frequencies are in use in a particular area.  Sometimes
with the use of the scanner's signal strength indicator, one can figure out
if it's simplex, repeater input, or repeater... That's kind of the challenge
& fun of the monitoring hobby.

Perhaps you would like to share your findings with the group about the
frequencies you've monitored that are now encrypted in your area?
