Well I'm not really into the CIA rendition flights, I was using the list
more as a potential government contracted aircraft list. BTW most of those
listed IMHO wouldn't be carrying supplies since most are small aircraft.
The military has cargo aircraft for effectively & efficiently deliving
supplies to Cuba.
There's a lot of non mystery aircraft, such as "JUSTICE" flights that are
contracted (or agency owned) aero by the USMS for moving prisoners around.
"ROSS" flights are generally FBI aircraft on mission (and than revert back
to their tail numbers). "FLIGHT CHECK" are FAA aircraft checking out navaids
& runways electronics. I'm sure that there's others that have a meaning to
the FAA air traffic control system.
HOWEVER, these mystery aircraft most likely are just using their typical FAA
tail # as a callsign, although they might use other airline callsigns
(defunct businesses). There's lots of biz jets flying around the country
today.
An example of the use of mystery aircraft was when the King of Jordan
visited the Vice President in Wyoming. He left Westover JARB (civilian
metro side) (KCEF) on his aircraft JORDIAN 001 for Salt Lake City, UT --
what type of aircraft he used to fly into the VP's local airport Jackson
Hole WY (KJAC).
Again, I'm not interested so much in conspiracy theories, but just basically
having a curiosity about the various aircraft. Especially those that are
operating in/out of military airfields -- perhaps the mystery will
continue!!!
