[FedCom] Interesting comments - secrecy of Civil Air Patrol Freqs

Hello Daryll & the group:
I think the vast majority of people who volunteer their time to Civil Air
Patrol have good intentions & do help the government in a variety of
missions (see their website for complete information). As with any
organization, you always have a few that are "on the fringe" so to speak.
US Government frequenices lists/usage (civilian agencies as well as military
branches) are considered FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY, and are not to be released
to unauthorized personnel. This policy has been around for 40+ years!
Again even if CAP's frequencies get changed (which is doubtful), it really
won't take that long in a concentrated US wide radio monitoring hobbyists
project to find & identify new frequencies in use.
It's too bad too many people on this list are always complaining about
perceived "injustices" or what other people say rather than just spending
some monitoring time "in the search mode" discovering interesting
frequencies & posting their findings to this list.....
