I don't know about now, but back in the 80's an early 90's
The FAA had repeaters on 172.875 in Vernon TX and 172.825 in Grandfield
OK. They were used by Airways Facilities Maintenance almost on a daily
basis and had phone patches. When I moved to NE Tarrant Co. in 1993 I
heard 172.825, 172.875, 172.95 repeaters in the DFW area but sometime
after that they went dead.
