Hello everyone,

Chris, thanks for the good insight.  Here in southwest Missouri the FAA is 
using the old analog system, 100% for maintanance. 172.150 P25 is used for TSA.  
I did here DES encryption about 7 years ago on 172.950 [repeater] and on 
166.175 [simplex] during a crash investigation in Branson, MO., but nothing since 
that time. They still use the analog system for phone patches.  I would say 
that the freq. list I posted is about 10 to 25 years old, but for the most part 
is still good.

sbaker40cal: The old Motorola radios use to have a channel selector "A,B,C,D" 
and another channel selector "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8".  These are the "zones" I was 
referring to.
