>The 2005 Fire mgmt Plan for Mount Rainier Natl Park in
>Washington State reports that they have repeaters at -
>Gobblers Knob, Crystal Mtn, Mt Fremont, Tolmie Peak,
>Shriner Peak, and Packwood. There are also base
>stations at - Comm Center, Longmire, Crystal Mtn, and
>Packwood. The Comm Center is at Park HQ at Tahoma
>Woods. The Comm Center is staffed 14 to 16 hours per
>day in the summer. After hours, 911 is used to reach
>the rangers and park staff. (I dont know exactly what
>that means - maybe 911 calls go to the local Sheriff

>Apparently - in the summer time - they staff 1 or 2
>wildland fire engines, perhaps 1 structural fire
>engine, perhaps 1 ambulance, and maybe 6 or 7 ranger
