I get through Salina once in awhile and hear very little on the fed bands. I assume there's still an FBI RA out there, but I wouldn't expect much radio action. You might be able to hear the security at the Eisenhower Presidential Library from Abiline that used to use 415.200 or 417.200 simplex. Sporatic ICE (Border Patrol interior checkpoints on the interstates) and DEA activity maybe. There used to be a USAF presence at the former Schilling AFB in Salina around 148 MHz. as it was an ACC fall-back base and the Smokey Hill MOA gives some occasional B-2 runs.

Well just wanted to get clarification -- So we really don't know at this
point if there's UHF fed activity in Salinas KS
