DMAT Encryption Re: [FedCom] DMAT new frequency?

Encryption masks the signal content BUT not the presence of a signal. 
There's no indication that
encryption will prevent this sort of situation.  Take Iraq as an example: 
Radio comms are
irrelevant, it's all done by covert observation.   I'm not sure what the 
response time is for
DMAT but I'd assume it's going to be greater than 8 hours.  I do agree with 
you though that
in the event of a major bombing incident, law enforcement authorities need 
to at least sweep
the areas where the response vehicles are going to be parked.
