The first article is about an oddity regarding the TSA at SFO. SFO uses
a private company for screening, which probably is the reason for the
oddity.
I don't know if it was his column, but Monitoring Times published data
on the Nellis range (NTS, Groom Lake) that was lifted from
radioreference.com without giving them credit. The mistakes on radio
reference were printed in the magazine. [I have my own list of correct
frequencies, i.e. what I personally log. As you know, radioreference is
a conglomeration of submissions, which invariably has wrong information
on it.]
