Groom, TTR, and the whole NTS complex
could be classified milcom, as well as,
fedcom, so if you want to split hairs, Larry
could write an article about it, AS WELL AS
Chris. There is a massive amount of federal,
military, and civilian testing going on out there,
known and classified. Plus, the whole southern
half of Nevada is primarily DOE and BLM, so
there's your fedcom. To label Groom, or any of
Nevada's test ranges "milcom only" is incorrect.
