[FedCom] RadioRefrence Accuracy

I think Ken has hit on the primary problem with entrusting available data to a single source and not putting data on several different web sites. Blanton does an excellent job, but it sets him up as the sole pressure-point for would-be "homeland security" czars and censors. It's best to include radio ref in our contrubutions, but not to rely on them exclusively. That should make things available and at the same time take some of the heat off Blanton.

Radio Reference overall is IMHO weak on conventional radio federal frequency
information & has been somewhat 'bullied' by the feds into removing some
federal radio trunking systems information -- which of course is the
website owner's decision. HOWEVER, once information has been published in
"Monitoring Times" magazine, 'the cat is out of the bag' so to speak and
there's no taking anything back once published!

I'm not aware of any federal frequencies assignments being published in the
FCC data base.
