Interestingly, yesterday's (11/15/06) Springfield (MA) "The Republican" had 
a story 'IRS Agents Search Residence' and some pictures of an IRS Criminal 
Investigative Division raid/search of a home in East Longmeadow 
Massachusetts.  The vehicles in the picture appear to have CT license 
plates, which would probably indicate that WMass geographic area is covered 
by the CT IRS CID office (Hartford?)...    Couldn't find my notes, but I 
think some hobbyist have reported simplex operations in the past in the 
167.000 mhz frequency range.
