Seems to be a military allocation all right. It was used in NE KS for security at the Sunflower Army ammunition plant.

Subject: [FedCom] 173.5125 in Boston area - who is it

My first post got rejected as spam - maybe because I
had 3 question marks in the subject heading. Lets try
again.

Seems that every morning around 8AM there are a couple
of P25 transmissions on 173.5125 in the Boston MA
area. Anyone know who that is? (I dont have P25
capability yet). Hanscom AFB FD does a daily radio
check on 166.225R at 8AM - the 173.5125 traffic might
be related to them. Peter S
