[FedCom] re - braps in Boston area

I did a little experimenting.
Pro2004 with a horizontal flexi antenna attached -
163.75 solid braps - 163.775 dead - 171.775 dead -
172.775 weak brap - 170.775 dead (dead = nothing
heard)
Pro2004 with a vertical telesopic metal antenna -
171.775 dead - 170.775 braps weak - 163.775 dead -
163.75 solid braps - 172.775 solid braps
These "braps" last about half a second, and occur
approximately every 2 minutes. I wonder if this is a
Seneca system? I think that Seneca radios know where
they are located, and self select their radio
channels. Maybe these braps are similar to the clicks
on a LTR system.
