Frequency normally is 122.9 for exercises. BTW one wing apparently has put
out instructions to their personnel that 122.9/123.10 will be used for
interagency communications & not for CAP air/air or air/ground within CAP.
Instead the CAP VHF FM freqs will be used. It's unclear IF CAP ground teams
will be carrying aero type portable radios. The new configuration appears
to be 1 team member staying with the vehicle to use the VHF-NFM radio as
relay while other team members use the ISR radios. Doesn't appear the
teams carry an VHF-Aero AM portable radios to talk on aero freqs direct. So
what's the rumors on the channel plan for the expanded new frequencies?
