[FedCom] CAP - Lots of Money How Many Radios & Real MissionImpact?

One official source of information indicates the following:
Total VHF Radio Equipment Operational:  5048
Fixed Repeaters:   457
Portable Repeaters:  47
Airborne Repeaters: 45
Fixed Stations: 25
Mobile Stations: 3820
Portable Radios:  654
Communications Vehicles:  100

If I remember correctly some years back CAP started licensing individual 
member radios as mobiles rather than fixed stations, so some mobiles may 
actually be used at both fixed locations & mobile but are classified as 
mobile.  This was done to streamline licensing.
