[FedCom] Satellite Fixed/Mobile Federal Users

Slow down Chief, this wasn't meant to be an insult, just a comment.  I 
thought that is what this group was for.  I too was in the Navy (AX)& I 
too am a ham, although almost never on the air.  If you look at this 
link http://www.chinfo.navy.mil/navpalib/ratings/navrate.html you will 
indeed see there are no more radiomen (RM) in the Navy, they are 
Information Systems Technician (IT). "Formerly known as RM (Radioman). 
DP  (Data Processing Technician) merged into the RM (Radioman) field in 
1997. The CTO (Cryptologic Technician - Communications) rating was 
merged into the IT rating on 1 Mar 2006" from the Navy web site.  I 
think the Navy no longer teaches CW.  Also I never said the Navy does 
not use HF SSB & MF SSB, if fact they are quite active. And thanks for
