CAP Aircraft Callsign Changes?? Re: [FedCom] Civil Air Patrol"High Bird" Operations Callsign Changes?

In many wings the first two digits are the Wing charter #  and the second
two are the last two digits of the tail number.  This is what was
recommended by Nat'l HQ but some wing commanders liked a different plan for
the last two digits..
  Now ATC will sometimes shorten the call from CAPFlight  1234 to CAPFlight
34 during a series of back and forth transmissions but the original contact
with each particular ATC facility should be with the whole complete callsign
(CAPFlight 1234)
