[FedCom] USS Nassau report from Rockport, Maine 3-5 AUG 2007

Vessel is an amphibious assault craft. They were running EDACS on the
ISR freqs, w/ ISR #6 as the constant control channel. The USS Nassau was
in port for the annual Lobster Fest. They are headed elsewhere as part
of a public relations cruise. It is an impressive ship.

A search of the You Tube! web sight found several videos of life on the
ship. Quite interesting.

I have a 5.5 meg Word document report, replete with pictures,
graphically detailing scanners, scanning techniques, bands scanned,
equipment utilized, etc for anyone that wants one. Just email me "off
