Seems to me the following might apply:

1.  Very little federal radio communications, most being conducted by 
cellphone and or low power portables difficult to monitor by most hobbyists.

2.  No one bothered to check the federal frequencies that were active since 
the local police, fire, ems, etc freqs were very active.

3.  Regional/geographic area private invitational only group was formed 
quite awhile ago and the members have an appropriate private discussion on 
frequencies etc., and part of the membershi requiirements is not to share 
information outside the group.

4.  Ibid, except at the nationwide federal level, as above.

5.  Potential fear/concern that publishing information on a public list, may 
bring federal interest in their monitoring activities.
