Tuesday was the first nice day we've had in weeks up in the Pacific
Northwest, so I took time to drive up to Rocky Butte and do a little
searching...

165.2375, P-25 - DHS Customs & Border Protection, CHARLIE 100 with traffic
166.7125, 127.3 - Willamette National Cemetery
167.0750, 110.9 - US Geological Survey, input to 168.4250 repeater
167.2875. 167.9 - FBI
167.3375, 167.9 - FBI
168.4250, CSQ - US Geological Survey, Cascades Volcano Observatory (Mount
St.Helens) - These guys are always out and busy when the weather gets good.
There are a lot of sensors and data links on the volcano that are always in
need of repairs.
172.2250, 123.0 - Gifford-Pinchot National Forest, US Forest Service, Mount
Mitchell repeater
172.5250, CSQ - Bonneville Power Administration, US Department of Energy
172.9000, P-25 - TSA repeater
173.1500, 167.9 - FBI
417.2000, P-25 - Federal Protective Service, Portland repeater

Despite the installation of trunked sites for the Justice Integrated
Wireless Network in the Portland area, many of the conventional repeaters
and simplex channels continue to be used. For an update on the JIWN, check
the Fed Files Blog.
