Over the last month or so, I've found a digital repeater system along the
Georgia coast that is being used by the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge
Complex. The Savannah NWR Complex consists of the following NWRs: Pinckney
Island NWR, Savannah NWR, Tybee NWR, Wassaw NWR, Harris Neck NWR, Blackbeard
Island NWR, and Wolf Island NWR. The headquarters for the Complex is in
Savannah, GA.
So far I have found 4 repeater outputs, all using P25 digital voice:
169.825
171.650
171.750
172.450
172.650
The 172.450 site is located close to Savannah and is the one heard strongest
here in town. I have not yet determined the locations of the other sites.
