Locally I continue to monitor 409.9375R Digital encyrpted & in the clear.
It appears to me that most of the transmissions are Postal Police/Security
rather than Inspectors/Investigators, which I believe are using
nextels/cellphones as the primary communications device & than low power
w/t's during operations.

BTW a VERY good site to check out & READ each of the Annual Reports of
Investigation, posted at their website. The lastest one is for FY 06 (which
ended 8/31/06). Check out:

http://www.usps.com/postalinspectors/ar_menu.htm

They do mention some specific cases, with locations & names of individuals
so IF you go back into your logs you might be able to piece something
together. Otherwise it's great information about all functional aspects of
the US Postal Inspection Service.

Also additional up to date news information can be obtained by using
www.google.com NEWS and using the search terms US Postal Inspectors, US
Postal Crimes, Mail Theft, Postal Crime Information, Postal Police, etc.
which might prove more of an insight into very recent activity that you
might have monitored
