Had traffic on CG 164.9125, actually kinda busy, considering I 
never heard any traffic on this frequency before. 

7AM local: 

CG 22598 clg NY, for a radio chk, Station NY responds, 22598 
asks NY to go secure, scrambling follows. 

Within the next 1/2 hour, several more chk-ins for radio chks; 
"840" - radio chk
"497" - gives position 4029xxN/ 073xxxxW - "over land" 
"85"   - passes message "T.O.O.T.S.E.R." spelled phonetically, 
            I'm guessing the name of a vessel? 

then no more til 1000AM local, when Sector NY comes up on 157.1 
to announce there's an exercise XX miles south of Sandy Hook NJ. 

I guess that's why the busy period. 


Also had a lot of scrambled traffic on 418.75, strong, from first finding 
it at 1114 local until at least 1140 local. Very busy.
