Approx. 15.20 hrs EDT, strapping signal in Augusta (off their local 
repeater), only heard a ringing phone tone. I rapidly locked it in, with 
no further traffic.

They've taken to running encryption as of late, with burst transmissions.

Does the FAA use "autopatches" in other parts of the country?
